Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist
Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.
Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.
Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.
First I think it a dog and pony show. Second it is to show the higher standard we hold our military to. It is not about some terrorist claiming he got hit, nope it is not.
It is that they tried to cover it up. It will also set a president for the future, take a terrorist prisoner, or just shoot him.
I say just shoot the bastard and save us all the time and BS. I hope they get off really but now a day the world has become a PC kiss the enemy’s ass kind of place. Sucks
